Every booking starts with a free 15-minute consultation, in person or over WhatsApp. I look at the hair, tell you honestly whether it can be saved without cutting, and give you a realistic time estimate before you commit to anything. No session goes ahead until you know what to expect.

Worked through by hand and with the right tools, section by section. No rushing, no shortcuts, and no scissors unless there is genuinely no other option.
Before you leave, you get a simple routine to keep the hair from matting again, matched to your hair type and daily life. No products pushed on you.
PricingSimple, Hourly, No Surprises
The rate is £100 per hour. Matted hair is unpredictable, so I price by time rather than a flat fee, and the consultation gives you a realistic range before we start. Most cases fall into one of three bands.
Surface tangling or a few weeks of buildup. £200–£300.
Dense matting through part of the head. £400–£600.
A single solid mat or months of neglect. £700–£1,000.
Severe cases can run across two sessions if needed, so you are not sitting for ten hours straight. Home visits are available anywhere in London for a flat £200 on top of the hourly rate.

A lot of the people I see have already been turned away somewhere else, or told the only answer is to shave it off. That is almost never true. In six years I have worked on matting caused by depression, hospital stays, chemotherapy, surgery recovery, postpartum exhaustion, autism, chronic illness, and elderly care.
Every hair type, from 1A straight through to 4C coils. Tangling that built up over two weeks, and tangling left for over two years. The hair almost always comes back.
