I’m incredibly grateful for the service Vitalii provided today. He made me feel at ease and comfortable in his studio while patiently and expertly tending to my hair. I was given refreshments and a TV to entertain myself while he was hard at work. He was able to untangle all of my matted hair without needing to cut anything: a man of his word. Vitalii is absolutely incredible. I had been suffering for a few weeks with very matted long curly hair after switching a hormonal medication, and extreme dryness and tangles after travelling for 2 months, and I honestly had no idea what to do until I found Matted. I was very nervous at first because of how tangled my hair was and because stylists often don’t know what to do with my curly hair, but Vitalii made me feel very much at ease from the start. His service was beyond amazing, and he was so incredibly kind, patient and communicative. He worked on my hair for 5-6 hours while I listened to music. I can’t recommend him enough! I am so grateful to Vitalii. I had a big and very solid mat of hair and I couldn’t see a solution beyond cutting it out. The gender of the stylist was not disclosed during the booking process or on the website. However, because my matted hair was so severe, I was getting desperate and decided to proceed. I took off my shoes and was led into a very clean, professional room filled with high-quality hair products and equipment.Sitting in the chair and taking off my scarf for the first time in front of someone else felt awkward. Vitaliy is a true professional who focuses completely on the task at hand, so expect minimal small talk. The total process took between 6 to 8 hours (closer to 8). Despite my initial nerves, I felt incredibly comfortable. Vitaliy used all the right tools, and everything looked immaculate. I really appreciated that he took small breaks but continuously worked, standing behind my chair for nearly the full eight hours. I have never felt so appreciative of someone's determination in my life; thinking about his dedication still makes me emotional.Before I arrived, I was fully prepared to hear that I would have to cut all my hair off.
